Walking the Camino de Santiago is rarely just about the kilometers—it’s about the internal journey just as much as the physical one. Many pilgrims set out after a turning point in their lives: loss, transition, heartbreak, or simply a search for meaning (une quête de sens). Step by step, they confront their own thoughts, face their physical limits, and rediscover the power of the present moment.
This portfolio is a work in progress, a space where I hope to share not only the faces of those I encountered but also their stories—their motivations, their struggles, and what they found along the way. For now, it remains a visual narrative, capturing fleeting moments from the road. But in time, it will evolve into something deeper, giving voice to the many reasons that lead people to walk.
