Sunrise at Angkor Wat—one of those moments that Sunrise at Angkor Wat—one of those moments that feels surreal, like time standing still. But this trip was so much more than just breathtaking temples. Thanks Eugénie to capture me with my own camera.

Living on Koh Rong Sanloem for 3 weeks, painting a mural for Lovesick hostel, slow traveling, and meeting incredible people made this experience unforgettable. The kindness of the Cambodian people, the shared meals, the laughter, the late-night pool games—it all felt like home for a little while.

Mornings with coffee in front of the ocean, meeting Danny (the most mischievous and adorable Spanish guy—loved him!), seeing the bioluminescent plankton light up the water at night… these were the moments that made it special.

A huge thank you to Eugénie, Elena, and Jao for helping me wrap up the mural and clean up the floor on my last night—you made the finish line so much easier. And to Marta, thank you for trusting me to photograph you in the most amazing location (Siem Reap temples), you’re such a natural!

Ben, Robyn, and Victor, I hold you in my heart. Can’t wait to see you again in a few days, Ben and Robyn!

Honestly, 20 clips weren’t enough to share everything… Cambodia, you were amazing. ✨

”LoveSick” isn’t just a name—it’s a feel ”LoveSick” isn’t just a name—it’s a feeling. This hostel by the ocean is all about intensity, passion, and unforgettable moments. The mural was inspired by that very essence: hearts overflowing, bold colors, and the energy of a Cambodian island that you cannot forget. Personally I have met the nicest people during my stay and they are still in my 💜.
Painted brushstroke by brushstroke, day after day, this is how the mural came to life.

Have you ever loved so much it felt like too much? And if so did you use art to express your feelings?

Thank you, @lovesick_hostel, for the incredible opportunity to create something so vibrant and different from my usual work on this beautiful island. I’m signing off from Koh Rong Samloem and heading into my next creative adventure. Stay tuned for a fresh video update showing the mural process once I get a new screen on my phone in Bangkok. Thanks for following along!

To “trust the process” isn’t just an express To “trust the process” isn’t just an expression for me—it’s a mantra.

Whenever I start a new watercolor piece, I never know exactly how it will turn out. In Istanbul, the balance between modernity and authenticity inspired me, and I felt drawn to paint a veiled woman. But after months without painting a portrait, I found myself hesitating.

People often say, “You’re so talented,” but there I was, staring at a blank page, feeling like I was starting from zero. I had to trust the process. Stroke by stroke, layer by layer, the watercolor took shape. With watercolor, it never looks like much at first—faith is necessary.

By the end, I looked at my work and thought, Did I really make this? It surprises me every time. And that’s what makes it so rewarding. Taking a blank page and turning it into something that evokes emotion, sparks connection, or leaves a memory—it’s powerful.

✨ Have you ever pushed through doubt, trusted the process, and felt rewarded in the end?
