Visual diaries: 2025 in fragments. Murals, islands Visual diaries: 2025 in fragments.
Murals, islands, sunsets, friendships, family.
Creating, leaving, returning.
And creating again.

This year took me from wall to wall, island to island.
From shared sunsets and deep connections to coming back home, finding comfort in everyday life, and letting art take new forms.

I’m ending this year carrying both gratitude and loss.
My grandmother passed away on New Year’s Eve. While I can already feel that grief is never linear, I don’t want to step into a new year with fear or bad omens.

I choose to honor her life, her love,
and how precious it all is.
Because life is made of contrasts —
light and shadow, joy and sadness —
and it’s often through the difficult moments that the beautiful ones become even more meaningful.

As I step into 2026, my intention is simple: more art, more sunlight, more connection, more love.
An open heart. An abundant life.
And the courage to keep creating through it all and stay authentic.

Any wishes for your 2026?

Not long ago, I completed this hand-painted mural Not long ago, I completed this hand-painted mural for a dental clinic in Istanbul — a piece inspired by the timeless beauty of azulejos.

Azulejos are often associated with Portugal and Spain, but their history is rooted in Hispano-Moorish craftsmanship, influenced by Islamic geometric art and North-African decorative traditions. I wanted to reinterpret that legacy in a softer palette of cream whites and deep blues, creating something both calming and elegant for the clinic.

This mural sits right by the entrance, visible from the street — a serene welcome into the space.

Painted entirely by hand, in acrylic, brushstroke after brushstroke.

Sunrise at Angkor Wat—one of those moments that fe Sunrise at Angkor Wat—one of those moments that feels surreal, like time standing still. But this trip was so much more than just breathtaking temples. Thanks Eugénie to capture me with my own camera.

Living on Koh Rong Sanloem for 3 weeks, painting a mural for Lovesick hostel, slow traveling, and meeting incredible people made this experience unforgettable. The kindness of the Cambodian people, the shared meals, the laughter, the late-night pool games—it all felt like home for a little while.

Mornings with coffee in front of the ocean, meeting Danny (the most mischievous and adorable Spanish guy—loved him!), seeing the bioluminescent plankton light up the water at night… these were the moments that made it special.

A huge thank you to Eugénie, Elena, and Jao for helping me wrap up the mural and clean up the floor on my last night—you made the finish line so much easier. And to Marta, thank you for trusting me to photograph you in the most amazing location (Siem Reap temples), you’re such a natural!

Ben, Robyn, and Victor, I hold you in my heart. Can’t wait to see you again in a few days, Ben and Robyn!

Honestly, 20 clips weren’t enough to share everything… Cambodia, you were amazing. ✨

”LoveSick” isn’t just a name—it’s a feeling. This ”LoveSick” isn’t just a name—it’s a feeling. This hostel by the ocean is all about intensity, passion, and unforgettable moments. The mural was inspired by that very essence: hearts overflowing, bold colors, and the energy of a Cambodian island that you cannot forget. Personally I have met the nicest people during my stay and they are still in my 💜.
Painted brushstroke by brushstroke, day after day, this is how the mural came to life.

Have you ever loved so much it felt like too much? And if so did you use art to express your feelings?
